Slack
AI-powered issue suggestions from Slack conversations.
Lisa's Slack integration turns conversations into actionable issues. When your team discusses problems, features, or bugs in Slack, Lisa automatically suggests structured issues.
How it works
- Connect Slack — OAuth connection from Settings > Integrations
- Lisa listens — Messages in connected channels are ingested as source events
- AI processing — Lisa batch-processes messages and generates issue suggestions
- Review queue — Suggestions appear in the Insights page for review
- Accept or dismiss — Accept suggestions to create issues, or dismiss them
Setting up
- Navigate to Settings > Integrations
- Click Connect Slack
- Complete the Slack OAuth flow
- Select channels to monitor
Suggestion types
Lisa identifies several types of actionable items from conversations:
- Bug reports — "This is broken" / "I'm seeing an error"
- Feature requests — "It would be great if..." / "We should add..."
- Tasks — "We need to..." / "Can someone..."
- Improvements — "This could be better" / "Let's optimize..."
Review process
Suggestions appear in the Insights page with:
- Suggested title and description
- Source message context (who said it, when, in which channel)
- Confidence score
- Suggested priority and type
You can:
- Accept — Creates a full Lisa issue from the suggestion
- Edit and accept — Modify before creating
- Dismiss — Mark as not actionable
Privacy
- Lisa only processes messages from channels you explicitly connect
- Message content is used solely for suggestion generation
- No messages are stored permanently — only the generated suggestions
